COREOFICoreofi is a choreography and music analysis tool designed for music educators and their students. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe. By using Coreofi you agree to the practices described here.
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose beyond running the service.
Files you upload — audio tracks and video recordings — are stored on the server and are accessible only to you and, if explicitly shared, to the class members or individual users you choose to share with. No one outside your designated class or share list can access your files. School owners (teachers) can see the projects they have shared but cannot access files in projects that belong solely to students unless those students share them.
Media files are used only to render waveforms, compute BPM, calculate video sync offsets, and play back content within the editor. They are not analysed for any other purpose.
Your data and files are retained for as long as your account exists. If your account is deleted by a school administrator, your account data and associated files are removed from the server. You may request deletion of your account by contacting the school administrator or the service operator.
Passwords are stored as one-way cryptographic hashes and are never readable by anyone, including administrators. All communication with the server should be conducted over HTTPS. Access to all API endpoints is protected by token-based authentication.
While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely immune to security risks. Do not upload files that contain sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary for choreography analysis.
Coreofi does not use cookies. It stores your session token and username in your browser's
localStorage so that you remain logged in between visits.
This data stays on your device and is cleared when you log out.
Coreofi does not share your data with third-party advertisers or analytics providers. The application loads fonts from Google Fonts over a standard CDN request; this is the only external network request made by the frontend, and it does not include any of your personal data or media.
Coreofi is intended for use in educational settings and may be used by students under the age of 13 under the supervision of a school administrator (teacher). We do not collect any additional personal information from minors beyond what is described in this policy, and access is always mediated through the school's invite-code system.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Coreofi after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
